The transparency of Sögur's model is a double-edged sword: hostile parties may attempt to manipulate SGR. Aware of this vulnerability, the pre-model price calculation algorithm was designed to be path independent, meaning - it is determined by a sole parameter - the number of SGR in circulation at any point in time. Therefore it materially reduces risk of manipulation.
